  You can smell this place before you get here! The boasted chicken aroma makes my mouth water.
      It's been in the La Habra location forever. I think there was an ownership change the last couple years, but still making great chicken. The chicken is broasted so it's healthier than fried chicken!
      My order was to go, but I had a mishap in the parking lot and 1/2 my order ended up on the ground! I went back inside and told them what happened . They were so kind and cooked me up another batch! Kuddos for great customer service!                      
      Anyways, the chicken is so juicy. I always look forward to my first bite! We tried the fried fish this time too. Pieces were good size with crispy batter. They gave a lot of tarter sauce which I appreciate because I'm a sauce person.
      We enjoyed our meal as usual. This place has limited table for dine in though. There are only some outdoor patio tables available (not many).
      Something else I have to say is, it's not really fast food . Since they make it fresh, it takes longer to get your food. Be prepared to wait 10 to 15 minute for your order. I guess you can call in your order ... that's another way!

  It's a sad day when somewhere legendary gets sold.
  
  We had been going to chicken box for years before we lived in La Habra. Last week, we decided to get it (we had gotten it last a few months ago)...both times it seemed "off". Today, I found out it was sold last year.
  
  Before, the chicken was a bigger portion and fresher tasting. There were more and better sides. There were more sea food and dessert options. The fish was a lot better and they had malt vinegar (now they dont). The rolls are store bought vs. Homemade.
  
  Also, they closed the side door and made the inside very plain and boring.
  
  They had actual boysenberry punch before and now...nope.
  
  2 stars because of what it was. But minus 3 stars for the loss to la habra. Wont be going back.

  It smells great from outside, however the food is unseasoned. I got the ribs and a friend got the chicken. We ended up having to season the food at home. The potato salad taste like it was purchased from Stater Bros. It's over priced for what you get.

  The ribs are awful. Mealy texture. Overcooked.
  Overpriced.   Stick with that Perfect Chicken.
